Despite rumors of marital trouble, Ice-T played doting husband to wife Coco at her birthday party at Greenhouse Thursday night. The rapper and “Law & Order: SVU” star entertained the beauty and 50 friends with his rap hits, including “New Jack Hustler” from ’80s flick “New Jack City.” Coco received a pink cake, pink cupcakes and bottles of Ciroc Coconut. Coco recently cozied up to rapper AP.9 in some racy photos, but she apologized, and she and Ice-T stayed together.

Sounds like they’re sticking through thick and thin. Isn’t that what matrimony-dom is all about?
Greenhouse wasn’t Coco’s only b-day party either. Ice-T also surprised Coco Sunday with a party at Gordon Ramsey’s BurGR at Planet Hollywood in Vegas. Guests included Jeff Timmons from 98 Degrees and the cast of “Peepshow,” the Vegas show Coco is currently starring in.

Kayne West is apparently trying to help Kim Kardashian land a spot on the cover of Vogue.

A source told Star Magazine that the rapper is 'practically begging' the title's editor, Anna Wintour, to feature his five-months'-pregnant girlfriend.

But to date, his pleas have not worked.

Indeed it was previously reported that Ms Wintour said that Kim would grace the front of her magazine 'over her dead body.'

An insider said to Star that while Ms Wintour thinks Kayne is 'terrific', she declared Kim to be 'the worst thing since socks and sandals'.

Lil Wayne Hospitalized — Rapper In Coma In ICU After More Seizures

Lil Wayne is back in the hospital on Mar. 15 and things are looking dire for the 30-year-old rapper. He’s reportedly in the ICU in critical condition after suffering another seizure. The rapper had already been admitted to the hospital for seizures once this week, on Mar. 12, but was released the following day.

Lil Wayne Found Unconscious, Rushed To Hospital

TMZ reports that just hours after Lil Wayne was released from the hospital on Mar. 13, one of his bodyguards found him in his room, unconscious on the floor. He was then rushed to the hospital again, but unlike other time, he did not stabilize.

He was taken to the ICU, where he was reportedly placed in restraints because he was uncontrollably shaking. According to TMZ, he is currently “unstable” and has been placed in a medically-induced coma, breathing through tubes.

The scene in Lil Wayne’s room is reportedly a grim one, with several people crying at his bedside. A number of rap artists and family members are said to be on the way. TMZ’s sources say that it’s quite violent, as the rapper shakes uncontrollably.

The rapper’s mother is reportedly flying to Los Angeles, and all major decisions on his health, including the decision to stop life support, will be made once she arrives.

Lil Wayne: Sizzurp Binge To Blame For Seizures?

Sources further allege that Lil Wayne may have gone on a Sizzurp binge after being released from the hospital on Mar. 13, as doctors have reportedly found high amounts of codeine in his system. It’s reported that his stomach was pumped three times to remove the drugs from his system.

As previously reported, Wayne had been rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles on Mar. 12 after suffering what appeared to be multiple seizures. He was released just a few hours later, early in the morning of Mar. 13.

Wayne had also previously ben hospitalized on Oct. 25, 2012, after experiencing “seizure-like symptoms”

Then Nicki told Curtis, 'If you leave, I leave.' After Curtis was eliminated, Nicki got up from the judges table and walked around in a circle before grudgingly sitting back down.

Notorious B.I.G. Cartoon on Deck

Christopher 'The Notorious B.I.G' Wallace is set to return from the grave courtesy of a new children's show featuring his children.

Biggie's 16-year-old son C.J. Wallace and 19-year-old daughter T'yanna Wallace will star in a cartoon series called 'House of Wallace' set in their late father's Brooklyn, New York studio.

According to reports Biggie will appear in the cartoon in spirit form to guide the children as they fight to keep the their studio out of the hands of a larger company. The series has not been picked up, but several networks have shown interest.

Ne-Yo Sued Over ‘Behind The Music’ Statements

R&B singer Ne-Yo continues to be haunted by remarks that he made on VH1′s Behind The Music. It was on the show that the star claimed ex-girlfriend Jessica White tricked him into thinking that he was the father of her child. White is now suing Ne-Yo for suggesting that she bilked him of “ungodly amounts of money” and is an “unchaste woman.”

After the initial VH1 program aired, Ne-Yo took to twitter to soften the blow of his remarks, writing:
“I need it to be known that the purpose of my BEHIND THE MUSIC wasn’t to bash Jessica White. We were young, mistakes were made. I FORGAVE,” says Ne-Yo. “Holding grudges messes with your blessings. I do not hate Jessica White. I wish her and lil’ Chimere all the best wherever they are. LOVE.”

Despite those efforts, White claims her reputation was damaged by Ne-Yo’s comments. .
She argues that she did not try to defraud the singer, and that Ne-Yo’s statements on the VH1 program has led to her being called derogatory names; she also claims that her career as a photographer and graphic designer has suffered because of the remarks.

White is suing for unspecified damages.

“I don’t think Marvin is a very happy spirit right now,” says Janis, who was married to the singer from 1977-1981 and claims they remained off and on until seven months before his 1984 death. “This is the last thing he would want to have happen.”

According to Janis, both the play “My Brother Marvin” and the upcoming Julien Temple film, “Sexual Healing,” will focus on the final years of Marvin’s life, which were plagued by depression and drug abuse. She’s especially bothered by the play, which allegedly presents Janis in a negative light.

“I haven’t read the script, but it’s supposed to be based on (sister Zeola Gaye’s) book and I did read the book from cover to cover, and it was very difficult to read,” she tells Confidenti@l. She called it sensational and questioned its accuracy. “Some of the characterizations, like saying Marvin’s father killing him was a ‘mercy killing,’ you can only imagine how that makes the kids feel,” she says, referring to her and Marvin’s 38-year-old daughter, Nona, and 37-year-old son, Frankie. “It makes me feel bad enough.”

Janis admits Marvin’s final years were dark.

“It wasn’t always the greatest, but it was tough times for him and for everyone,” she admits.

Janis also tells us she’s “disappointed” that “Sexual Healing” may soon start filming with Jesse L. Martin in the lead role, but she’s thankful to Lenny Kravitz, who was slated to play that part before stepping down last week. “Ultimately, I think it was Lenny’s heart and soul and conscience that caused him to step away,” she says. “Hopefully, that touches Jesse in the same way.”

Dr. Dre Gets $60 Mil To Start His Own Music Service

Looks like Dr. Dre is gunning for the top spot again this year! Forbes highest paid rapper of 2012 has just inked a deal for a new project that will have him watching the money pile up (again)!

The project, called “Daisy” is a streaming music service that was once a part of Beats electronics (creator of the coveted Beats By Dre headphones). Ironically enough, Dre’s 2012 fortune was largely due to his Beats by Dre headphone sales. Now Dre and his Beats co-founder Jimmy Iovine, have received a $60 million dollar investment to launch Daisy as a separate standalone service from Beats.
Which means two things: 1) Pretty soon, Dr. Dre will have his own version of Pandora or Spotify, and 2) He could possibly be doubling his 2012 income this year!

According a written release from Beats, Dre and Iovine are set to launch Daisy in “late 2013.” The two have hired Nine Inch Nail’s Trent Reznor to be the Chief Creative Officer, and Topspin media founder Ian Rogers to be the company’s CEO.

Lil’ Kim Sues Lawyer For $1 Million

Lil’ Kim claims in a new lawsuit that she’s been cheated out of $1 million in endorsement deals by her lawyer and business partner, Sunny Barkats, and his associate, Andrew Ro.

According to reports, the rapper is suing Bakrats for $1 million on the grounds that he promised her multimillion dollar deals for brands in the alcohol, cosmetic and perfume businesses.

In the suit, which was filed in Manhattan Supreme Court on March 8, Lil Kim claims Bakrats and Ro cheated her out of “valuable trademark and branding rights” while somehow usurping 44-percent control of a corporation started to license the perfume, cosmetic and alcohol brands.

Barkat released a statement calling the suit “another frivolous attempt by Lil’ Kim and her attorneys to get out of what is otherwise a binding agreement.”

That being said, would you endorse a makeup and perfume line that Lil’ Kim was associated with? We’re not sure what your answer is, but we know what ours is.

Beyonce Is A Grandma

A lot of celebrity rumors are bogus, but recent reports that Beyonce is Solange’s mom – not sister – is absolutely LUDICROUS.
According to an online report, Beyonce gave birth to Solange when she was 14. The report also claims that B was not born in 1981, but rather 1974, meaning she’s not 31.
According to BuzzFeed, Beyonce’s cousin Ang told a source the truth. “Bee’s cousin told me Beyonce’s daughter is Solange, and she said it to me in confidence after the topic of teenage pregnancy came up,” the source shared. “Mark my words, one day the truth will be told. Solange is 22 and Beyonce is 36, that is a 14 year age difference,” she stated.
Ok, now none of the math is adding up. If Beyonce was born in 1974, she would be 38 or 39, not 36.
And if this rumor was true, which we’re sure it isn’t, it would mean that Beyonce is a grandma, Solange is Jay-Z’s step daughter, and Blue Ivy is an aunt.

Beanie Sigel Responds To Sentencing

Beanie Sigel was sentenced to six to 23 months in jail after pleading guilty to narcotics possession. To anyone else, this would be an unfortunate event, but a rep for Sigel tells HipHollywood exclusively that it’s actually “good news”.

“Although most other news sources ran this story on Sigel’s birthday as if it were bad news, it is in fact good news,” Sigel’s rep explains. ”Beanie beat the gun case and was sentenced to six to 23 months. This sentence will run concurrent with his federal sentence. We expect an early release. This is actually good news.”

Beanie was already sentenced to two years in prison July of 2012 for federal tax evasion, after failing to file federal income tax returns from 2009 – 2012.

When asked how Beanie is holding up while being locked away since last August, the rep replied, ”Beans could be home before his birthday next year, he’s in good health, and he will finally be clear to focus on his career.”

According to his team, once released, Beanie’s career focus will be to finish a much anticipated album collaboration with Scarface, Mac and Brad.
